Medicinal ingredients produced by the production facility in DLBS PT Dexa Medica, said Raymond Tjandrawinata, are the results of our own research coming from Indonesian biodiversity, starting with biomolecular research, animal pharmacology test, until clinical trials to patients in various cities in Indonesia.

DLBS production facilities PT Dexa Medica have met the requirements of Natural Ingredients Extract Industry (IEBA) as contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 006 year 2012 about Traditional Medicine Business and Industry.
Production facilities owned by DLBS have been through a validated process in a production system with modern technology support, and have been certified by Halal Assurance System with A grade, AAALAC international and certified by ISO 22000:2005 (Food Security Management System).
While DLBS finished goods production facilities are produced at PT Dexa Medica production facilities that have been certified by GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certificate, Good Traditional Medicine Production Method, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 14001:2004.
DLBS Found Various Indonesian Herbal Medicine Active Raw Materials
Raymond R. Tjandrawinata added that DLBS has a vision to become a research based organization for the invention, development, and production of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and nutraceutical products. Since 2011, result products of DLBS, Bioactive Fraction, have been marketed by PT Dexa Medica and have met the requirements of the Ministry of Health regulation number 006, year 2012.

Researchers in DLBS study the candidate of herbal medicine active raw material for the chemical and biological aspects at the molecular level through a process called TCEBS (Tandem Chemistry Expression Bioassay System). TCEBS is a method of systematical filter to find the most active and potential candidate for the studied product following a bioassay system which harness gene expression and protein array technique.

HerbaVOMITZ is a modern herbal medicine made from natural herbal Zingiber Officinale (ginger) processed with modern technology ‘Advanced Fractionation Technology (AFT)’, to produce active substance Avominol. AFT is an extraction process to gain a specified fraction which has biological activity to alleviate bloating and nausea.
