A Brief Introduction to Our Product
Phyllanthus niruri herba extract enhances both innate and adaptive immune responses, including cellular and humoral immunity. It effectively combats both intracellular and extracellular infections by accelerating phagocytosis in neutrophils, macrophages, monocytes, and other immunocompetent cells. The increased neutrophil phagocytosis facilitates a faster eradication process of invading microbes, viruses, or fungi, particularly extracellular pathogens, and their clearance out of the body. Additionally, by increasing the phagocytic activity of monocytes and macrophages, the extract can accelerate the lysis of cells infected by intracellular microbes, thereby exposing these pathogens to other immune system cells in the extracellular compartments.
Phyllanthus niruri also influences the cellular immune system by accelerating T-lymphocyte proliferation. It accelerates the proliferation of T-lymphocytes and activates cytotoxicity mediated by natural killer cells and T-cytotoxic (CD-8) lymphocytes. In addition, it also enhances humoral immunity, particularly in the production of immunoglobulin M (IgM) and immunoglobulin G (IgG).
In addition, vitamin C and zinc also play crucial roles in supporting both innate and adaptive immunity. Both zinc and vitamin C are micronutrients that assist the immune system by performing complementary functions and acting as antioxidants against reactive oxygen species.
