Dexa Group Promotes Domestic Products by Showcasing OMAI at National Event

Dexa Group, as one of the leading national pharmaceutical companies committed to advancing the domestic industry, participated in the National Working Meeting on the Peningkatan Penggunaan Produk Dalam Negeri (P3DN) and the P3DN Communication Forum held at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

This event is part of the government's effort to encourage ministries, agencies, and regional governments to support domestic industry self-reliance by increasing the use of high-quality national products across various sectors, including the healthcare sector.

According to Mr. Agus Gumiwang, Indonesia's Minister of Industry, "the more we use domestic products, the more the circulation of money stays in Indonesia, which leads to faster economic growth, more job opportunity, increased tax revenues, and ultimately a stronger economy."

In addition to the Minister of Industry, other attendees included the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Mr. Eko S.A. Cahyanto; Head of the Industrial Services Standardization and Policy Agency, Mr. Andi Rizaldi; Deputy for Tourism and Creative Economy Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Mr. Odo R.M. Manuhutu; Deputy for Infrastructure and Transportation Coordination at the same ministry, Mr. Rahmat Kaimudin; and the President Director of PT Medela Potentia, Mr. Krestijanto Pandji.

Mr. Agus Gumiwang explained that domestic product spending has been on the rise. In 2022, domestic product spending by ministries, agencies, and local governments reached IDR 440 trillion. In 2023, this figure increased by 32.2% to IDR 582.5 trillion. For 2024, the government has set a target of IDR 1,151 trillion for domestic product spending by ministries and regional governments.

"There is still time to meet the domestic spending target. We must remain optimistic that this year's results will surpass previous years," Mr. Agus Gumiwang emphasized.

Dexa Group's Participation

During the event, Mr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and his team visited the Dexa Group booth, where they were welcomed by Mr. Krestijanto Pandji. Dexa Group showcased its line of Obat Modern Asli Indonesia (OMAI), which is developed from Indonesia's rich biodiversity and feature a high level of local content (Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri (TKDN)). The high TKDN in OMAI products reflects that everything—from raw materials, researchers, production processes, and distribution—is sourced from Indonesia.

"By increasing the TKDN in its products, Dexa Group is committed to building the self-reliance of Indonesia’s healthcare industry through high-quality, effective, safe, and halal products," said Mr. Krestijanto Pandji.

Several Dexa Group products also showcased as part of the #CerminanKualitas (Quality Reflection) campaign included Stimuno, Herbakof, Asimor, Diabetadex, Inbumin, Kolesdex, Redacid, Memodex, and various products from Stardec.

At the event, Dexa Group's booth also provided health screening services for chronic disease detection, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, and cholesterol screening.
