Herba Asimor plus Vitamin C

HerbaAsimor Plus Vitamin C is formulated with a combination of Galatonol, Striatin, and Vitamin C. Galatonol is derived from a blend of Sauropus androgynus leaves and Coleus amboinicus herbs, in a ratio of 60% and 40%. These plants are well-recognized in Indonesia for their traditional use in promoting breast milk production. On the other hand, Striatin is a bioactive protein fraction obtained from Snakehead fish (Channa striata) and contains proteins, amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals that support maternal health, particularly for breastfeeding mothers. 

Vitamin C is one of the essential vitamins required for human health, including lactating mothers, that mainly acts as an antioxidant and supports the immune system. The addition of Vitamin C in HerbaASIMOR Plus Vitamin C helps meet the daily recommended intake, preventing vitamin C deficiency in both lactating mothers and their babies. Vitamin C deficiency in infants can lead to growth abnormality, scurvy, and other health disorders. 

The galactagogue properties of Galatonol and Striatin have been evaluated through a preclinical study involving lactating female rats. The results showed that Galatonol and Striatin significantly increased breast milk production compared to the control group (p < 0.05). These results also led to an increase in the body weight of pups. Furthermore, the levels of prolactin and oxytocin were significantly higher in the treated groups than in the untreated group (p < 0.05). Accordingly, the increase of breast milk production was attributed to the increase of prolactin and oxytocin secretion. 

Therefore, HerbaAsimor Plus Vitamin C not only provides galactagogue activity, but also antioxidant properties for breastfeeding mothers.
