Herba Asimor

HerbaAsimor is an herbal medicine containing Galatonol, an extract derived from the combination of Sauropus androgynus leaves and Coleus amboinicus herbs, along with Striatin, a bioactive protein fraction from Snakehead fish (Channa striata). HerbaAsimor possesses galactagogue effects and is intended to help lactating mothers in increasing breast milk production by stimulating the release of prolactin and oxytocin.

HerbaASIMOR is available in film-coated form, with each caplet containing a precisely formulated dose of 300 mg of Galatonol and 30 mg of Striatin.

A Brief Introduction to Our Product

The combination of Galatonol and Striatin in HerbaAsimor works synergistically to enhance breast milk production by stimulating the release of prolactin and oxytocin. Galatonol is derived from a  combination of Sauropus androgynus leaf and Coleus amboinicus herb, both of which have been traditionally used to stimulate lactation. In addition, Striatin is rich in essential nutritional compounds that support postpartum recovery. An in vivo study demonstrated that administering Galatonol and Striatin significantly increased prolactin and oxytocin levels in lactating female rats, primarily contributing to its galactagogue activity.

Product Functions

HerbaAsimor contains two active ingredients, namely Galatonol and Striatin. Galatonol is derived from a combination of Sauropus androgynus leaves and Coleus amboinicus herbs, with a ratio of 60% and 40%, respectively. Both plants are well-known, particularly in Indonesia, for their traditional use in increasing breast milk production in lactating mothers. Numerous studies have also reported the galactagogue activity of these plants. Whereas, Striatin is a bioactive protein fraction derived from Snakehead fish (Channa striata) containing protein, amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. These nutritional components are highly beneficial for lactating mothers, as they support the post-partum recovery process and overall health.

The galactagogue activity of HerbaAsimor has been proven through a preclinical study of Galatonol and Striatin in lactating female rats. The results showed that the administration of Galatonol and Striatin significantly increased breast milk production compared to the untreated group. These results also led to an increase in the body weight of pups. Furthermore, the level of prolactin and oxytocin were significantly higher in the treated groups compared to the control group (p < 0.05).

In terms of safety, acute oral toxicity and subchronic oral toxicity studies on the combination of Galatonol and Striatin have been conducted. The results indicated the LD50 value to be higher than 5000 mg/kg BW, suggesting that the combination of active ingredients is non-toxic. Moreover, repeated administration of the tested substances did not cause any death or abnormalities in the tested animals.

Accordingly, HerbaAsimor has been evidenced to effectively boost breast milk production in lactating mothers by stimulating the release of prolactin and oxytocin, while considered safe when administered at the recommended dose.
